New Features

In-App Downloads

You can now download episodes directly through AniStation for offline viewing.

Streaming remains fully ad-free. Lower-quality downloads do not require an ad. One rewarded ad unlocks the highest available quality for that anime during the current player session; closing the player or session ends the unlock.

  • Internal downloads for offline playback within AniStation, kept out of your gallery.
  • External MP4 downloads for saving episodes outside the app.
  • Available subtitle tracks will be included with supported downloads.

Watch Order

Anime with multiple seasons, movies, OVAs, specials, and other entries can now have their recommended viewing order displayed in AniStation.

This makes it easier to follow the correct order without having to figure out where movies or additional entries fit between seasons.

Auto Backup & Restore

AniStation now supports automatic backup and restore of your app data.

Your complete AniStation data can be backed up and restored, making it easier to move your data to another device or recover it after reinstalling the app.

Multiple Subtitle Support

AniStation now supports multiple subtitle tracks when they are provided by the selected server.

You can choose between the available subtitle languages directly from the player.

Multi-Audio Streams

A new multi-audio streaming option is now available through the Sora server.

Supported streams can provide multiple audio tracks, allowing you to switch between available audio languages directly from the player.

This is the previously teased secret feature.

YouTube-Style Fullscreen Gestures

The player now supports YouTube-style swipe gestures for fullscreen.

This makes switching between normal and fullscreen playback faster and more natural.

  • Swipe up to enter fullscreen.
  • Swipe down to exit fullscreen.

Mini-Player Dismiss Gesture

The mini-player can now be dismissed using a swipe-down gesture, similar to the interaction used by YouTube.

Player Lock

Added a Player Lock option to prevent accidental touches while watching.

When enabled, accidental taps and gestures are blocked until the player is unlocked.

Skip Intro/Outro Toggle

Added an option in Player Settings to show or hide the Skip Intro/Outro buttons.

This allows users to customize the player according to their preference.

Dark/Light Mode

Added a dedicated Dark/Light mode toggle in Settings.

Users can now quickly switch between the available appearance modes without having to rely solely on the system theme.

Increased Watch History Limit

The maximum Watch History limit has been increased from 10 to 20 entries.

This allows more recently watched anime to remain available in Watch History.

Remember Import Username

AniStation now remembers the previously entered username when importing an anime list.

This avoids having to repeatedly enter the same username during future imports.

Experimental Discord Rich Presence

Added an experimental Discord Rich Presence feature.

When enabled, AniStation can share your current activity with Discord.

This feature is experimental and may change in future updates.
